Assessments and Evaluations

An assessment or evaluation provides the individual or organization with a snapshot or insight of particular needs. It also determines whether a clear focus is followed and the chosen course of action is in line with its purpose, vision and mission. The value of these "inventories" provides a compass to achieving goals and desired results.

The D.I.S.C. Learning Model

The DISC Personality test is a nonjudgmental survey for understanding behavioral and personality styles. It helps people explore behaviors across four primary dimensions:

  •  Dominance: Direct, Driving, Decisive. These people tend to be independent and results driven. They are strong-willed people who enjoy challenges, taking action, and immediate results.  The bottom line and end results are their focus.
  •   Influence: Optimistic & Outgoing. These individuals tend to be very social and out going. They prefer participating on teams, sharing thoughts, and entertaining and energizing others.
  •   Steadiness: Sympathetic & Cooperative. These people tend to be your team players and are supportive and helpful to others.  They prefer being behind the scene, working in consistent and predictable ways. They are often good listeners and avoid change and conflict.
  •   Conscientiousness: Concerned, Cautious & Correct. These people are often focused on details and quality. They plan ahead and consistantly check for accuracy. They want to know the "how" and "why".

This assessment tool is versatile. It identifies personal interests, attitudes and values, which can relate to overall efficiency of an organization.

EQ Assessments - Genos Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace.

The Genos EQ Assessment is based on a sixty-four-question survey measured against either a general population or an executive population. The individual or multi-rate assessment can be measured against either population. Both assessments are based on perception of the individual taking the survey. They will uncover a score on the seven emotional competencies.

Companies throughout the world rely on these models to create higher competitiveness and greater efficiency in production output. Since these goals are aligned with people, their interaction and behaviour, companies now see the value of and need for behavioral science in the workplace.
